Job title: Care Coordinator

Location: Kent/Medway

Reports to: Manager

Pay: Competitive Rate

Responsibilities

As a Care Coordinator, you will be responsible for implementing quality control systems. This is a

key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality care are delivered at all times. Providing ongoing support to all Personal Care Assistants. This role is responsible for all field based

compliance covering risk assessments, care planning, spot checks, as well as developing and

supporting a team of carers. The role will involve liaising with clients, family members as well as professionals from other organisations. You will be expected to cover for care calls when

necessary and some weekend work may be necessary.

Education and qualifications:

1. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent

2. Formal selection training upon engagement, with additional training as required by

legislation, good practice, service development and/or identified personal development needs.


Job title: Care Assistant

Location: Kent/Medway

Pay: Competitive Rate

Responsibilities

The following personal attributes are considered essential to the post of Care Assistant:

1. Qualifications: GSCE or equivalent.

2. Experience/knowledge in Health & Social Care.

3. Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.

4. Good problem solving and organisational skills.

5. Able to work reliably and in a flexible way, either on their own or part of a team.

6. Good reading, writing and recording skills.

7. A caring disposition, demonstrating honesty and integrity and sensitive to the needs of others.

8. Dedicated to a high standard of customer care.

9. Having a professional attitude, being enthusiastic and committed.

10. Physically capable of manual handling in helping others.

11. Good understanding of domiciliary care.

12. Basic understanding of Care Quality Commission requirements.

The following personal attributes are considered desirable to the post:

1. NVQ 3 (or willingness and ability to undertake).

2. Other health and social care qualifications.

3. Experience working with the elderly.

4. Experience working with people with dementia.
